Feastures and capabilities rival much more expensive units.I always buy Panasonic phones for at home use. The device was received in excellent condition and functions as stated it would. I acquired this set to expand an identical 2 handset device acquired some time ago for the house. After checking around I found it less expensive to buy this complete set than 2 individual hand sets. The phone is clear and carries a very good signal in and around the outside of the house.
Except for the base of the system seems to make static nose when you are using the handsets. They seem to work fine. the sound is fine on the handsets and another bummer is the keypad is not lit.
Shipped quickly. Sound quality could be better. Product as described. Overall a pretty good phone.
This phone system is EXCELLENT for the money. With the 4 handsets, not only is there a phone in every necessary room, this set also acts as an intercom system.The base takes up half the room as its replacement and it is filled with great features.like, talking Caller ID.
These phones are so much better and so much nicer now. I am just upgrading to accommodate a bigger house. The talking caller id gets annoying really quick though, LOL. I had a Panasonic 1ghz phone set (2 phones) for over 10 years and it survived three moves and two kids and still works. I mean my kids broke the antenna stems and covers off, chucked and kicked these phones all over the house and never any static, drop-calls, not even a battery change needed. I expect to have them for a while.
